This episode contains a discussion about his beginnings as a bladesmith and Mikes relationships with prominent knifemakers, including Bill Moran, Jerry Fisk and Harvey Dean.

Show Notes - Episode 2 starts with an interview with the owner of the 120 year old Lewisville Feed mill, James Ponser. James relates his life growing up in the farm community around his family's mill. Across the street was a blacksmith shop that James frequently visited. He discusses his incredible collection of historical artifacts from the Lewisville area. The lewisville Feed Mill hosted the NTBA March, 2006 meeting. In the second segment, Daniel Bailey of Lewisville tells us how he began blacksmithing. Daniel was inspired by a "Thunderbird" and continues the craft by teaching adults and children through his forging skills.
